Simon ,keen to up the pace, moves us on past the Chemical works. Debate over the route due to Private property and gun licences signs everywhere. There are no signs for the official coastal path . We think the official path it is few miles inland but solider on over wet banks and marshes, potatoes and Blue daisy fields. Pheasant everywhere. No aircraft today but loads of murmurations displays and a few hares.
Finally hit the coast about 2 o'clock and 13 miles around the Shepherds Port Bird sanctuary’s. Sandwiches for lunch today. The tide was at least half a mile out! Kev has difficulty shifting his pork pies.
