Wednesday 8th September
Cove Hyde to Lowestoft —- 11 Miles

Another scorching hot day, which started with a irrigation system giving the group an early shower soaking as we were walking pass the hedgerow Walking towards Lowestoft we arrived at Kessingland which is known for the author Sir H.Rider Haggard spending his summers there while visited by his friend Rudyard Kipling, we passed plenty of different coloured beach huts. We then made our way inland to walk by Pakefield holiday park. As we reached Lowestoft we arrived back on the promenade passing Claremont pier before being aided by a local couple who pointed us towards our finish at Ness point.
Kev Dev videoed the magnificent 11 walkers on that final stretch to the finish line of the walk around the Great Britain coastline, as we celebrated with champagne & a round of applause from onlookers.
